This is one of three tall clock cases in the museum's collection made by Joseph O.A. Bryere. It was commissioned by Dr. Seneca D. Powell, newly-elected President of the New York County Board of Health in 1893. Powell owned Camp Osceola, just south of Antler's Point, on Raquette Lake.
