Label:
Lee L. Fountain (1869-1941) was proprietor of the Lake Pleasant House hotel in Speculator in 1910. It was about this time he began making furniture. He may have made this yellow birch rocker with a woven ash splint seat, one of a pair, after a design by the Old Hickory Furniture Company.
