Little is known about George Wilson (probably 1876 - 1939). He worked for a time as a gardener at Sagamore Lodge near Raquette Lake and at the Lake View Lodge in Big Moose doing carpentry work. His furniture is embellished with elaborate mosaic twigwork, as with the piece seen at left in this photograph.
