Label:
Seth Pierce (ca. 1824-1911) made this corner cupboard for Camp Cedars on Little Forked Lake. He used 11 species of wood in twig mosaic: sugar, swamp and striped maple; white and yellow birch; beech; ash; wild cherry; shadbush; witch hazel; and poplar. The doors on the base of the cupboard feature a 19th century quilt design called Flower Basket.
