The warden's house at Clinton Correction facility in Dannemora was built in 1880 and boasted its own ornamental gardens. In this rather fussy iteration, Sunbonnet Sue, a popular quilting design adapted as a garden ornament, stands over a slope adorned with rocks, grasses, and groundcovers.
