Adirondack Gardens : Cultivating the North Country
Label:
The Adirondack League Club's gardener paused to let photographer Henry Beach capture this image of the large vegetable garden that supplied club members with fresh produce. His tools lean against the vine-covered arched trellis next to a pair of rain barrels.

Founded in 1890 as a private hunting and fishing club, the Adirondack League Club owns 53,000 acres in the western Adirondack Park.
