The beauty of the Adirondacks inspired artist Grace Edgbert Oehser (1901-1999) to purchase a home near Baker's Mills in 1952. Several years later she captured this view of nearby 11th Mountain.
Oehser was a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art and was active in the Washington DC Printmakers Society.
